About Shuai Ye

Shuai Piano  



Shuai started playing piano at the age of five, and began teaching professionally since college. She has over sixteen years teaching experience with students of all ages starting from five. Shuai is a passionate instructor and believes that music can bring significant benefits to a person in multiple areas, including improved creativity, enhanced memory and independent mindset. 


Shuai received her Master of Piano Performance from Duquesne University. In addition, Shuai also holds bachelor and master degrees in Musicology from Shanghai Conservatory of Music. Such background has allowed her to build a strong music theory basis as well as solid instrument techniques.


Other than regular music lessons, Shuai also encourages students to develop their interest through performance or recital. These activities will enable themselves to develop confidence and explore all possibilities that music can bring them.


As part of Shuai’s music career, she has also instructed multiple chorus groups for their rehearsal performance, accompanied vocal and instrumental classes for college students and learned to play organ. She is excited to share her enthusiasm with her students to gradually develop their love of music as well.
